Plumb Wise Services Terms and Returns Policy

The customer may only return products to PlumbWise Services, and receive a credit or refund, on the following conditions:

The Customer may only return product to PlumbWise Services for a refund or credit with the prior consent of PlumbWise Services.

Return must be made within 30 days of the date of delivery (as stated on the delivery documentation).

Products must be returned to PlumbWise Services in their original condition and packaging and in a condition which will enable them to be immediately fit for re-sale. The Customer must state the relevant PlumbWise Services reference number and invoice details on the PlumbWise Services Customer Returns Form, on the rear of the despatch note or available on PlumbWise Services Online, enclosing it with the product (or other proof of purchase).

Where specific instructions appear in this web site or with any product regarding its return to PlumbWise Services, the Customer must follow such instructions.

If the Customer does not quote invoice details or the PlumbWise Services reference number, as on the original despatch note, the credit will be based upon the lowest sales price.

For products returned due to Customer error or no longer required and returned in accordance with (i) - (iii) above a re-stocking charge of 25% of the invoice value, subject to a £5.00 minimum, will be applied.

Where the Customer returns products to PlumbWise Services not in accordance with (i) - (iii) above (for example, after 30-days from the date of despatch and in an unfit state) PlumbWise Services will refuse delivery or may apply a re-stocking charge which relates to the actual cost of reprocessing (subject to a minimum 25% of invoice value and a £5.00 minimum).

This returns policy excludes Printed Circuit Boards, non-catalogue products and specially manufactured products.

All products are returned to PlumbWise Services at cost to the Customer and at the Customer's risk. PlumbWise Services accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to them or any items received by PlumbWise Services with them.

Our Opening Time are:

Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00

1. We are reliant on the prompt return of old units to maintain a cost effective and efficient service to our customers. If old units are not returned to PWS within 7 days we will charge customers for a new unit (at the current HRPC trade price).
   
   
2. Items ordered are only refundable in the event that they are defective, not if they were incorrectly ordered for any reason, misdiagnosed or no longer required.
   
   
3. Liability is restricted to repair and recondition or replacement of the item.
   
   
4. This is a reconditioning / repair and exchange service, we are not a merchant.
   
   
5. In the event that we send items out “up front”, the customer has the responsibility to return the old item within seven days of receipt of the item from us.
   
   
6. Unless otherwise stated, all items repaired and reconditioned carry a 12 month warranty against faulty workmanship on our part. This does not include damage caused to parts supplied by mishandling or other faulty parts.
   
   
7. Items are repaired and reconditioned on a “best endeavour” basis. Items found to be beyond economic repair and recondition will only be returned on receipt of the carriage charge.
   
   
8. All items are despatched by courier. Items will normally arrive at the customers address before 17:30 the day following despatch. (Items despatched on Friday will arrive on Monday.)
   
   
9. Items considered to be defective or incorrectly supplied must be notified to us within three days of receipt.
   
   
10. All prices posted on this website are provided exclusive of VAT and Delivery and inclusive of VAT and Delivery. The Delivery charge is £8.00
